    About Saint Peter's University

Saint Peter’s University (SPU) was founded in 1872 and is located in Jersey City (2641 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ). It is very close to the New York Metropolitan area, especially Manhattan. Many of our students who work and live in the NYC area choose to advance their academic skills at SPU due to the convenience.

Currently, SPU has two programs facing F-1 students who wish to use CPT as a work permit to gain real-life working experience: MS Data Science and MS Business Analytics. Both of these programs are STEM programs that come with 3 years of OPT and other of them allow F1 international students to apply for CPT from the start of the program.

SPU is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education Accreditation (MSCHE).
