Hybrid Format & On-Site Requirement

Onsite Policy:

Humphreys University requires international student attend onsite residency class once per term.

The program follows a hybrid format, with two-day onsite sessions (Saturday and Sunday) once per quarter, while all other classes are completed online through the university’s learning management system. Students take two courses per quarter, both delivered in a hybrid format with some mandatory in-person learning. Onsite sessions are held one weekend per quarter, with Saturday from 9am to 3:30pm and Sunday from 9am to 1am. A mandatory annual break is provided in the 4th and 8th quarters, during which CPT can be authorized.

Vacation Policy:

International students at Humphreys University can take 1 term off after 3 consecutive terms.

The MBA programs are a 52-credit, 27-month program. It is a full-time hybrid program. Each quarter (11 weeks) you will take two 4-credit courses concurrently with a 2-week break between quarters. Both courses are delivered in a hybrid format with some mandatory face-to-face, in-person learning. Total 52 credits; 8 credits per quarter; 3 quarters per year (mandatory annual break given in your 4th and 8th quarters with CPT authorization).
Students can apply for CPT work authorization during the vacation period.

Eligibility for CPT from Program Start

✅ Current OPT and F1 students may obtain CPT Authorization from Day 1 of the program.

✅ Oversea applicants may obtain CPT Authorization from Day 1 of the program.

✅ Change of Status (to F1 Status) applicants may obtain CPT Authorization from Day 1 of the program.

“Day 1 CPT Universities” isn’t an official term. It refers to schools that may allow CPT from the first semester, but approval isn’t guaranteed. CPT typically takes 5–15 business days after complete documents are submitted.

What are needed to submit my application?

After receiving an email from the school's admissions officer, follow the email instructions to upload your personal application materials, including:

- Online application form
- Degree certificates and transcripts
- All college transcripts, even if a degree was not earned (minimum requirement GPA of 2.75)
- Non-U.S. university degrees must be certified by ECE, WES, Educational Perspectives, or any NACES-certified transcript evaluation company
- Proof of English proficiency (if only have Non-U.S. degrees)
  - TOEFL 80 and above, with a score of no less than 18 in each subject
  - IELTS 6.0 and above
  - Duolingo score of 105 or higher, the Production sub-score minimum 100
- Passport-related documents
