CPT Details
CPT authorization needs to be renewed every term.
CPT is required for graduation.
Internship Requirement for Graduation
A practical internship experience is a required component of most master’s degree programs at BAU. At a minimum, students must complete CAPS 623: Virtual Internship, a credit-bearing, graded course designed to ensure both academic and professional standards are met.
To fulfill the CAPS 623 requirement, students must complete a part-time internship during their final semester through hosting companies arranged by the University’s designated partner. Externships or independent work experiences secured outside this structure will not be accepted as a substitute for CAPS 623, though they may be pursued in addition to CAPS 623.
Students are strongly encouraged to pursue additional internships or work experiences throughout their studies to further strengthen their industry readiness and professional development, including in programs that do not require CAPS 623 for graduation.
