The Western State College of Law
Established in 1966, became the fourth college of Westcliff University in August 2019 after the merger.
It offers Juris Doctor Degree (JD) and certificate programs.

According to a few students, some courses have a heavy workload. The average workload at Westcliff is about 3-4 hours per week. It’s worth noting that we have developed a Course Evaluation/Guide System to help students avoid "tough" professors.
| 3.Day 1 CPT Programs

Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
The DBA program requires 60 credit hours, including 48 credit hours for core courses and 12 credit hours for concentration courses.
If the applicant has already completed Managerial Economics, Managerial Accounting, and Financial Management in a master's program, these three courses can be waived.
DBA program can be completed within a time frame of 1.5 to 4 years, up to how you want to pace it. Students can apply for a semester break (CPT eligible), every 3 semesters they’ve completed in a row.

| 4.Onsite Frequency
Westcliff University operates on a tri-semester system: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Each semester lasts for four months and is divided into two sessions.
Courses at Westcliff are offered in a hybrid format, with two courses (3 credits each) per semester, totaling 6 credits (plus an additional credit for CPT). Its attendance requirements meet the F-1 visa regulations set by the U.S. immigration agency.
Onsite courses are mandatory for students, and non-attendance may result in the automatic loss of F-1 status.
It is important to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 throughout the academic program, as failure to do so may result in the inability to graduate and the termination of Fulltime CPT opportunities.

If the student resides within 50 miles of the school, they are required to attend school onsite once a week in a weekly format. The classes are held on a weekday from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

If the student resides more than 50 miles from the school, they are required to attend school onsite once a semester in a professional format. The classes are held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
*The student's residence address is determined by documents such as a leasing agreement, utility bill, rental insurance or car insurance bill, bank statement, etc.
*Tips: For students living in the Bay Area or other states, it is recommended to apply for programs at the main campus if there are direct flights to John Wayne Airport in Irvine. The main campus is only 2 miles from the airport, with daily direct flights from cities such as Dallas, San Francisco, and Seattle.

The graduate/doctoral programs at Westcliff University run on trimesters per academic year, each semester consisting of 2 sessions, for a total of 6 sessions per year, and students can apply for admission to any session.
