On-Site Schedules at Day 1 CPT Universities

On-Site Schedules at Day 1 CPT Universities
1:48
For international students attending Day 1 CPT universities, on-site requirements play an essential role in maintaining compliance with F-1 visa regulations while offering valuable in-person learning experiences. Today, we’re using Westcliff University as an example to highlight what students can typically expect during these on-site sessions.

At Westcliff University, students engage in a hybrid learning format that combines online coursework with immersive on-campus workshops each semester. These sessions usually span a weekend and feature a mix of presentations, workshops, group activities, and networking events. For example, students may attend afternoon seminars, participate in course-related workshops, and present case studies. These interactive components provide practical training and networking opportunities with peers and faculty.

Important Notes

  1. Compliance: Attending on-site sessions meets Westcliff’s F-1 visa requirement, so students should prioritize attendance.
  2. Preparation: Students should bring any necessary materials, and review the email from Westcliff detailing their assigned room and schedule.
  3. Networking Opportunities: Throughout Engage Week, students will have designated times to connect with peers and faculty, enhancing their educational experience.
