Getting to know the application process for Day 1 CPT

·         Check your eligibility

Not all students are eligible to apply for Day 1 CPT. You must hold a valid F-1 visa at the time of your application, but you must not be enrolled in an intensive English language program.

Moreover, students applying for Day 1 CPT must be enrolled in a full-time academic program that requires practical training from the first day of the course. This is because Day 1 CPT applies as soon as your degree program begins.
